I love this so much and for me what's hard is COMMUNICATION. So many of my peers want to text, text, text, text, and I hate looking at a screen *ALL* day. Call me, damn!! 😩😩 I like and miss those long phone conversations, hearing someone's voice and their laugh. I like having people come over. Texting is cool, it's easy, but it's not the only way or even necessarily the best way to develop & maintain connections- to & for me 🤷🏽‍♀️. I can count on one hand how many people actually call me. Yet I somehow have 500+ "friends" 🙄, cmon.

there is a difference between blindly agreeing with what men believes in for validation vs believing in something that men agrees with within ones own terms. Whenever a girl is shamed and called a pick me, i tell her this "at least you are being picked, or at least have men's respect (which is very valuable to said men) for standing up on what you believe in. People just use "pick me" as a way to mask their bullying behavior because they havent got what they want. Like a lady was called a pick me because i agreed with her about a certain topic, the bully legit told me to stop criticizing women (even though I didnt) and yet criticized said "pick me" for having a preference that i agreed with which is double standards. The way i see it, women who bullys others and calls them "pick mes" are just self entered, egotistical and hate being called out and also being held accountable

There are relatively very few people “maintaining the current trend” of skinniness. More than half the western world is morbidly obese. No one is maintaining anything except unhealthy lifestyle choices and offended attitudes about fairness. Life isn’t fair. Get over it.

Correction: Tanning is only skin damage to Europeans and not for Brown and African descent people, when we (Africans/Brown people) tan, we are activating more melanin which in turn protects us from the sun more. But we still need sun cream because even our ancestors in the continent had clay/mud as a sun screen. Waist trainers work ONLY when you've just given birth, it helps push the uterus back down to its original position. I should know because I used waist trainers twice after my babies were born.

I'm a man and I relate to every single thing you said... I've been obsessed with my stomach for as long as I can remember, wanting it to be flat and toned and to have abs. I always think about how I'm a "fraud" because people think I'm skinny but I'm "skinny-fat"... I obsessed over food and fitness the same way.. Thank you fot opening up. It means so much ❤

Apologising is a BIG one. I'm turning 30 in...a week lol, all of these Adella were so relevant to me. The worse thing about people pleasing too, is other people KNOW you're trying to please them but you continue, so now we're both stuck in an unpleasant awkward situation. As for dressing, I love dressing elevated and feminine (somewhat), because of how it makes me feel and gives me a confidence boost like no-one can CHAT to me but the male gaze is not something I care for, I really get offended when men even look at me and I have a tendency now to use my hands to shoo any man away. We have moves to be making, money to make, friends to see, places to travel to, laughter to be laughed. My only goal now, is to pick the best perceived choice for myself in every moment and be self-aware and like your friend said, if its wrong apologise and correct it (even if its apologising to yourself!). My 30th birthday present to myself will be therapy. My only addition is - in your 30s you need to get a HOLD of your finances, you can't be spending just to spend...we've grown out of that now.

Média is not British people - I think we aren’t stupid enough to believe all we read. I am a minority and been subjected to xenophobic attacks, called terrorist etc but that is not majority of British. All countries have idiots. I didn’t have privilege of being millionaire and in RF , I didn’t have security. But I know most people are good.
